- Proactively solicit new customers by using social media, phone and related marketing tactics.
- Write up quotes for new customers.
- Following up with previous day customers through Emails/Phone.
- Answering inquiries via telephone, fax, and e-mail; verifying and entering information into the business system.
- Calling other vendors to fulfill customer’s order.
- Updating reports in real time in Quickbooks.
- Checking reports to make sure all tasks are completed.
- Working with company management and other inside sales representatives to perform sales and marketing activities.
- Working on company’s website to add/delete new products and edit pages.

AV Technician I – Maryland
We are currently in search of a professional AV Technician I, and invite you to apply if you meet our requirements.
Job Description Summary
The successful AV Technician I will be responsible for supporting daily operations, including the set-up of equipment, execution of operations, supporting team members, troubleshooting, taking and maintaining inventory, and ensuring security of all equipment and venues. You will be responsible for executing and delivering A/V equipment to venues as requested, including sound, lighting, webcast, recording, and presentation equipment, to name a few. You will deliver support for team members and guests in terms of computer use, connectivity, software applications, and telephony. Any issues that are identified will need to be reported to the Manager/Supervisor.
The successful candidate will be responsible for checking all aspects of equipment, identify any equipment that requires attention, perform minor maintenance on equipment, respond to support requests, educate customers on equipment, assist in weekly breakthroughs for inventory and maintenance, attend meetings as necessary, monitor daily operations, and follow specific policies and procedures as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years experience in AV, Production, and IT
- Formally educated in IT and Electronic Media
- Impeccable knowledge of computer software, including MS Office and hospitality programs (such as OPERA, Delphi, Micros, etc)
- Excellent knowledge of Crestron, Da Vinci, Tandberg, ION, Analog Way, Audio Visual industry, and IP Audio Control
- Excellent knowledge of IP wired and wireless networks (such as VPN and VLAN)
- Ability to easily lift, push, and pull at least 70 pounds
- Ability to bend and kneel to pick up objects
- Ability to assemble and arrange equipment as per event order
- Possess excellent communication and customer relation skills
- Ability to follow directions
- Excellent reading and writing skills
- Availability to work a flexible schedule and work overtime when required
- Excellent knowledge of computer software
- Ability to take a leadership role and coach/develop team members
- Possess good dexterity with tools and cordless equipment
- Ability to adapt and improvise according to the needs of the business.
